RAAJ Connect App Privacy Policy

At RAAJ Connect, we are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data.
Permissions We Request
RAAJ Connect may request the following device permissions only to support app features:
- Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): Used to scan and capture documents/attachments if you choose to take a photo from within the app.
- Photos/Media (Photo Library / Storage access): Used to let you select and upload existing images/documents from your device.
- Notifications: Used to send service reminders, updates, and other notifications (you can disable notifications in your device settings).
- Vibration: Used only to provide haptic feedback for app notifications.
- Internet/Network access: Required for core app functionality such as signing in, syncing your data, and securely communicating with Firebase services.
You can deny these permissions; however, some features (such as uploading files) may not work without them.
- Profile Data: Your name, age, phone number, and email.
- Documentation: Images of documents and records that you choose to upload.
- Usage Data: We collect minimal technical data via Firebase for app performance and crash reports to ensure app stability.
- To manage and schedule your appointments and bookings.
- To provide specialists at our branches with the necessary background information for your sessions.
- To send appointment reminders and scheduling updates via notifications.
3. Data Storage and Security
- Firebase Encryption: All data is stored using Google’s secure Firebase infrastructure with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.
- Local Security: Sensitive session identifiers are stored securely on your device using hardware-backed local storage (Expo SecureStore).
4. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as needed to provide services and to meet legal obligations. You can request the deletion of your account and associated data.
5. Your Rights
You can request a copy of your data or ask for the deletion of your account at any time via the settings menu in the RAAJ Connect app.
6. Third-Party Services & Sharing
- Authentication: We use Google Sign-In as an identity provider. When you sign in using your Google account, their use of your information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Specialists & Staff: We do not sell or lease your data to third parties. Data is shared exclusively with authorized service professionals at your chosen branch (Koforidua, Takoradi, or Cape Coast) to facilitate your bookings.
